I love it when we get to see the progress of our titles, from idea to production. Control was a favourite as I got to create a website with some fancy secret areas that not everyone found. But the best bit about working at 505 Games is the people. I work with some hugely talented folk, whether they are working in creative, marketing, production, brand or community, they are some of the most friendly and patient people I have ever met! One huge thing I will never get bored of is seeing my name in the credits of a game. So amazing.

That’s easy, without a doubt it’d be Control. Remedy did a phenomenal job crafting together an interesting story in an even more fascinating world. There’s plenty of great cinematic scenes and superpower gameplay moments that continue to live rent-free in my mind. I’m so excited to see where that series goes. If you haven’t played it, it’s on Game Pass.

Do you have a favourite title from the last 15 years? |
I love many of our games but I really like some where I had a special involvement. The first one would be the How to Survive franchise, it was the first product I fully managed, started as a smaller project and it was very fun to work with Eko Software.
Second would be Terraria, it’s our 10th anniversary this year!
In third position I am going to name Total Tank Simulator. The Noobz From Poland crew has a great energy, we shipped their first game in the very tough Spring of 2020 and reached top positions on Steam! As their name suggests it was a new studio and they have a lot of positive curiosity. I am eager to see what else they can bring to the table.

What’s your most memorable moment working at 505 so far? | There are so many, but one thing that stands out happened within the first few months of working here. I was answering customer support tickets, and I heard from a father who said that Terraria was responsible for encouraging his autistic son to venture outside for the first time, walking around their garden, collecting and cataloguing rocks, plants, and other objects, similar to what he loved doing in the game. That really stayed with me, underscoring the importance of never forgetting the human element of games. |

The most memorable moment is when my family and friends in Korea found my work on Korean websites, shared with me and started playing some of 505’s titles! The other thing I want to share is that it has been a tough few years for everyone, not able to visit family and friends back home including myself. It was Assetto Corsa’s official 505 Games debut.

The Cooking Mama DS turning point, when we have ranked up to the first place of the global Nintendo chart and then also the Italian cross-format chart. The launch of Cooking Mama. Working on Italy at that time, we made many TV infomercials, using a rare real-time 3D technology on a huge green screen (blue, TBH). It was super-exciting, as it was a state-of-the-art experience.
